Amazon now falls behind Google in ad spend 

The Amazon effect continues to grow as the company reported on their first-quarter 2018 filing “other” revenue. Sales and Advertising services, which fall under the “other” category, grew 132 percent year over year to reach $2 billion. Read more.

Connected Customer Experiences

At the recent Flock CMO Lunch Forum, four CMOs from very different industry sectors (Automotive, Technology, Entertainment and Investment Banking) found they all shared challenges around Connected Customer Experiences. They agreed on the need to design their marketing organisations and ways of working around the needs of their customers, based on five key barriers to becoming a customer-centric and customer-connected organisation. Find out more here.
